Tropical Storm Ondoy (typhoon) (internationally known as Ketsana) suprised Metro Manila on September 26, 2009. The typhoon brought almost a month-worth of rainfall in Metro Manila for a duration of six hours the highest recorded rainfall in the area in 42 years. It brought streets of Metro Manila underwater mostly in waist-deep flood but it was reported to have reached up to five meters in some areas.

Typhoon Ondoy damages the Philippines
September 26, 2009 when typhoon Ondoy hit the Philippines leaving 48 dead people and still counting. It was so painful seeing the people struggling and fighting for their lives. this has been the biggest flood in the pi so far.

Pepeng/Parma – Latest News
Nope. It’s not over. Not by a long-shot! Typhoon Parma, as it is known internationally (or Typhoon Pepeng or Bagyong Pepeng as it’s known locally in the Philippines) is caught in this video continuing its punishment of the Philippine Islands.
This video was picked up on YouTube. The video is provided courtesy of a local broadcasting company in the Philippines, GMA Brodcasting. The news people in the video are speaking in one of the most common of the 29 dialects spoken in the Philippines, known as “Tagalog”.
